Your work is yours.

Freq Builder stores the account details, projects, lyrics, style prompts, AI usage records, and basic product events needed to operate and improve the service.

What we collect

When you create an account, you provide a display name and email address. Passwords are stored only as one-way salted hashes, private session tokens are hashed, and recovery keys are stored only as one-way hashes. We store projects you choose to save, remaining AI credits, plan status, and limited product events such as opening the workspace, starting a build, copying a prompt, or whether an AI preview succeeded. Beta activity analytics do not contain your lyrics or complete generated prompts. We do not sell personal information.

Product analytics

Our upgraded analytics uses a random browser ID in local storage and a per-tab session ID that renews after 30 minutes without a tracked action. It records supported public-page paths, catalog genre selections, broad traffic-source categories, successful copies and saves, listening starts, and limited success/failure events. Signed-in events may be associated with your account. This tracker does not store lyrics, prompts, raw query strings or URL fragments, full referrer URLs, IP addresses, or error-message text. Analytics can estimate browsers and sessions, not identify a precise number of individual people.

The upgraded tracker honors browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Necessary account, credit, referral, security and saved-project operations continue. Identified owner activity, explicitly marked test browsers and recognized bots are excluded from audience reports; recognition is not perfect. An optional test-device marker uses local storage and a first-party cookie. Earlier measurement records are retained separately, not rewritten as new sessions. Clearing browser storage resets the browser identifier and also removes device-only drafts.

AI processing

Text you submit to an AI feature is sent to OpenAI to generate the requested result. AI requests are configured not to be stored by the model provider for product improvement. Freq Builder keeps a limited run record for credits, reliability, and abuse prevention.

Your device and cloud data

Drafts may be stored locally in your browser. Signed-in cloud projects are stored in the service database. Avoid submitting confidential information or material you do not have permission to use.

Retention and choices

Data is kept while your account and projects are active or as needed for security and legal obligations. To request access or deletion, use the support page. Clearing browser storage removes device-only drafts.

Security and changes

We use encrypted transport, secure browser cookies, rate limiting, and reasonable technical controls, but no online service is risk-free. This notice may change as account controls evolve; the effective date will be updated.
